About Us

 

The Valley of Blessings officially started in 2023, it focused on Clothing manufacturing (sewing skills) and End User computing. Within the period of 2 years, we have managed to equip 40 students with sewing skills and 80 in ICT. We would like to expand our offering to include Data Science, Cyber-Security, Software Development, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This aims to create a pipeline of skilled individuals who will go on to contribute to the growth of the South African digital economy.

Goals & Objectives

We recognize that success goes beyond technical knowledge and our long-term goals are to contribute to the efforts to reduce poverty through human development.

Goal 1

Create female entrepreneurs - Increase the number of female entrepreneurs with technical skills and allow women to discover the joy of learning through technical skills.

Goal 2

Create a self-sustaining program and create employment - Ensure continued relevance and creating employment after the training program by partnering with industry experts.

Goal 3

Psychosocial Support – Provide mental wellness programs, resilience-building workshops, and personal development training to help learners overcome challenges.

Goal 4

Entrepreneurship & Career Development – Mentor participants on business acumen, networking, and financial independence, enabling them to either secure employment or start their own ventures.
